So far the international community has claimed that what happened in Honduras was coup in the style that were common in the 60's and 70's, but the reality is different this is a new type of government removal.

djd, How naive can you be? Don't you know that voting events are not won by the people who vote but by the people who count the votes? The voting was being carried out by people aligned and paid by Zelaya. Of course I don't even want to begin again in relation to the illegality of the action.

I love your exposition, as it gives me the chance to answer paragraph by paragraph: Zelaya clearly stated that the objective of the changes in the constitution were to be able to remove presidents or dissolve congress by popular vote and allow for reelection.

That's the theory, but in practice what will happen is that there will be a mob there to support him and officers (police and armed forces) trying to avoid this mob from freeing him and instead put him custody. This will result in injuries and quite possible deaths.
